SPIRITT Family Centers are hubs where stressed families seek support for both the children/youth and the adults who are often experiencing poverty, trauma, parenting, intimate partner violence, mental health challenges, and substance abuse issues. SPIRITT offers concrete support to help families struggling economically with rent, utilities, and food by redistributing in-kind donations including diapers, formula, cribs, car seats, and clothing.

Other services and activities include therapy; intimate partner, parenting, and fatherhood support groups; yoga; sewing; self-defense; dance therapy; economic development, and more. SPIRITT also offers Family Structured Activities such as El Dia del Nino/Children’s Day, Eat Dinner with your Family, Back to School, and holiday celebrations. Since the pandemic, SPIRITT continues to offer hybrid activities to help families with transportation, scheduling, and childcare.

Most services are provided in both English and Spanish.
